X Gavrilin Festival will be held in Vologda at 4 venues - the Vologda Regional Philharmonic Society, Russky Dom Concert Hall, the Drama Theatre and the Regional College of Arts.

The festival is named after Valery Gavrilin, the great Russian composer, People's artist of Russia who was born in Vologda.
This year it is devoted to the 85th anniversary of the birth of Valery Gavrilin.
The festival is organized by the Vologda Region Government, Department of Culture and Tourism of the Vologda Region and Vologda Philharmonic Society.
The main objective of the event is to reveal new talents and to perpetuate the memory of Valery Gavrilin.
This year the Gavrilin Festival will include 19 concerts, creative meetings, lectures, exhibitions and master classes.
