Vologda Region has started to export milk powder to Algeria.

25 tons of milk powder produced by Severnoye Moloko JSC, one of the dairy processing enterprises of the Vologda Region were exported to Algeria in September.
All products exported to Algeria passed the necessary tests for compliance with the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country.
The company received a Halal mark of conformity, a special symbol, which is a verification of compliance with all the requirements and standards of Halal.
Algeria has become the third country that receives powdered milk from the Vologda Region.
The export of milk powder from the Vologda Region to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan began in 2024. Since the beginning of the year, 266 tons of milk powder have been delivered from the Vologda Region to these countries.
