Vologda Region Government and LLC Severgroup, a private investment company signed a cooperation agreement as part of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

On June 3rd the agreement was signed by Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov and Director General Alexey Mordashov. The company has a set of digital educational projects that will serve to improve the quality of school education in the region.

“The local government has a long-standing constructive relationship with LLC Severgroup. We contribute to the implementation of the largest investment and social projects in our region that increase the volume of production and tax deductions to the budget system. The company is also interested in developing digital educational projects. During the period of distance learning of schoolchildren, Severgroup provided the region with free access to all Foxford online courses that are intended for students, intentionally to improve their knowledge of the main subjects of the school courage. Amid coronavirus pandemic the Vologda Region received an opportunity to organize an online learning process based on first-class educational materials,” Oleg Kuvshinnikov noted. "I am sure that our cooperation will have a positive effect on the further development of the Vologda Region's education system and will contribute to the expansion of partnership relations in the field of education."

The agreement envisages a long-term cooperation which provides access to all the opportunities of the online school, as well as to other projects of the company in the field of education. Together, the parties will be able to develop and coordinate projects aimed at improving the quality of education, exchange information for their implementation, support talented and gifted students. The document also provides for the possibility of forming working and expert groups, attracting qualified specialists and exchanging best practices.
