Restrictive measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 are back in Vologda Region.
On June 15th the First Deputy Governor held a meeting with experts on the development of the coronavirus pandemic and preventive measures.
The Vologda Region Government takes all possible measures aimed to contain the spread of coronavirus infection and to reduce social contacts frequency that can contribute to the virus spread.
Vologda authorities recommended that the region's senior citizens over 65 years of age should stay at home due to an increased number of COVID-19 infections. Vologda residents over 65 years of age especially with chronic illnesses should not, unless absolutely necessary, leave their homes. Volunteers will deliver groceries and medicals for elderly residents.
The Vologda Region continues to impose coronavirus-related restrictions. Cinemas, theaters and concert halls will be allowed to fill no more than 50% of seats. All sporting events will be held with 50% of spectators. The top leadership of the Vologda Region prohibited entertainment events and work of enterprises in the food service industry from 00:00 to 06:00 due to the situation with the spread of the coronavirus infection.
