On August 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Acting Governor of the Vologda Region Georgy Filimonov. Georgy Filimonov delivered a report to the President describing the socio-economic development of the region.
The head of the region also briefed on the extent of the national projects implementation and efforts in the domain of government-to-citizen relations.
Education, industry, agriculture, construction industry, tourism, ecology and investment policies employed by Vologda's administration were in the highlight of the meeting.
The Acting Governor also talked about his direct communication with citizens of the region.
