2020 edition of International Green Week organised by Messe Berlin GmbH started on January 17th. It is a 10 day event.
International Green Week, the world's largest exhibition for the Food Industry, Agriculture and Horticulture features a comprehensive range of international foods and luxury items fresh products of all types product markets, beer, wine and champagne, meats and sausages, seafood, teas, herbs and spices, agricultural and horticultural machinery and equipment, seeds, greenhouses and gardening supplies, breeding stock, pets, hunting and fishing supplies etc.
In 2020 the Russian Federation notched up twenty continuous years of participation. Eighteen Russian regions arrived in Berlin to display their staple products at the Green Week, the Vologda Oblast among them.
The International Green Week Berlin is one of the oldest fairs in the German capital. The exhibitors present agricultural products from all over the world to trade visitors and the public alike.
The International Green Week Berlin is unique as it presents trends in food, agriculture and gardening from a global perspective. Various products are presented in addition to the range of products displayed by the exhibitors, including holidays and shopping in the countryside and the promotion of renewable energies.
More than 1,800 national and international exhibitors from 61 countries present typical regional products and services related to food, agriculture and gardening.
The Vologda Oblast demonstrates the quality and environmental friendliness of the top-quality Vologda products made with local raw materials and using traditional methods - dairy products, world famous Vologda butter, caviar, confectionery, Ivan-Tea and others.
“We are confident that our products will be in high demand and more customers throughout Europe will learn about Vologda’s products,” said Deputy Governor of the Vologda Oblast Mikhail Glazkov.
