Sveza Group has established a wood procurement company Novator +52 in Vologda Region.
Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov paid a working visit to Veliky Ustyug District on December 19th. The main objective of the visit was to inspect a new plywood-making facility in the Vologda Region.
Sveza Novator, a plywood mill in Veliky Ustyug (Vologda Region, Russia) is one of the major wood-processing companies in the region. The main activity is various kinds of plywood production and chipboard production.
A project related to the Sveza Group’s growth strategy is Novator +52, which increases the need for own wood procurement. The project will increase plywood production by 52,000 cubic meters per year. Investments are made in the production of large-sized coated plywood and special plywood. About 100 new working places will be created in Veliky Ustyug thanks to this cooperation.
The Sveza Group’s goal of managing the entire production chain from wood procurement to sales of end products is quite logical. Raw material sourcing is secured while its sourcing planning and pricing can be controlled and the production process becomes more transparent and consistent.
The new plywood-making facility will be launched in cooperation with Hashimoto Denki CO LTD (Japan) that is engaged in designing and manufacturing plywood making machinery and vehicle manufacturing equipment. Hashimoto Denki CO LTD will invest USD 85 mln into a joint project with Sveza Novator. The Company's line of business includes manufacturing woodworking machinery.
