A plant for cultivating salmon will be built in Vologda Region.
During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (May, 2018) Oleg Kuvshinnikov and top leadership of Aquaproduct signed an agreement aiming to build salmon’s aquaculture facility and increase salmon output in the Vologda Region.
On October 18th, the top leadership of Aquaproduct, the Vologda Region Investment Agency and Vologda District Administration signed a trilateral agreement on setting up of a salmon cultivating enterprise.
The system will operate as a closed system under roof using. It will be placed in the suburbs of Vologda and create over 50 new working places. Total annual aquaculture production will be around 2,000 tonnes. The salmon’s aquaculture facility will be commissioned by 2020.
