Deputy Governor Alexei Kozhevnikov is to travel to Milan, Italy to brief on economic potential of Vologda Region.

On November 26, Mr. Kozhevnikov is due to carry out a presentation of the economic potential of the Vologda Oblast for the Italian business community.
The Russian delegation boasts an excellent representation. The Republic of Bashkortorstan, Ulyanovsk, Tula, Pskov, Kostroma and Samara regions are involved in the Russian-Italian trade economic mission.
Rosario Alessandrello, head of the Italian- Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, RF Ambassador to Italy Sergei Razov and trade representative of Russia in Italy Igor Karavaev are to take part in the event.
Vologda’s Deputy Governor Alexei Kozhevnikov will brief on the economic potential of the Vologda Region, its investment climate and large investment projects that are underway in the region.
The Italian Republic is among the long-standing trade partners of the Vologda Region. The Vologda Oblast delivers ferrous metals (91%) to Italy, wood and wood-working articles (5,7%).
The Italian Republic imports ships and boats (55%), mechanical and electrical equipment (21%) to the Vologda Region.
