St. George's Ribbon campaign dedicated to Victory Day is taking place in Vologda Region.

The St. George Ribbon campaign to distribute black-and-orange ribbons, a symbol of the victory in World War II started in Vologda ahead of Victory Day. It is an annual patriotic event.

A delegation from Vologda Region visited Chinese People’s Republic.

A delegation of the Vologda Region led by First Deputy Governor Dmitry Gorbachyov took part in the 2023 China (Langfang) International Economic and Trade Fair.

Vologda is to host the 6th Interregional Forum of Modern Information Technologies on April 2-4, 2015.

The IT Forum meets regularly to promote information sharing across the region IT community.

Cherepovets (Vologda Oblast) became home to an international conference devoted to wooden house-building.

Vologda  is to host Gates to the North, an inter-regional event, show and exhibition for the tourism industry on April 16-17.

It is held annually with an active backing of the Vologda Oblast Government. The venue of the Gates to the North is the Exhibition Centre "Russky Dom". The exhibition area and various segments, along with the comprehensive programme and supporting events represent the entire product spectrum of the tourist industry of the Vologda Oblast. At the same time, they form the basis for the development of new ideas, approaches and targeted marketing.

Vologda will become home to the 20th International fair and exhibition Russian Wood on December 2nd, 2015.

Yulia Chekaleva, an athlete from the Vologda Region made it a Russian World Cup double with victory in the women's 15km skiathlon (7,5 km classical style and 7,5 km freestyle) in Rybinsk, Russia.

Vologda’s Department of Economic Development informs about international exhibitions in the  Czech Republic in 2015.

The main exhibition event in the Czech Republic will be the 57th International Engineering Fair (MSV). It is the leading industrial trade fair in Central Europe with annual participation reaching more than 1800 exhibitors and 75000 visitors from 60 countries worldwide. More than a third of the exhibitors are from abroad. All nine of the key specialist sectors of the engineering industry are very well represented.
