A free seminar of the Russian-Finnish Cultural Forum will be dedicated to social networks.

The Finnish-Russian Cultural Forum invites Russian cultural institutions for a free educational project held in an online format.

The Finnish-Russian Cultural Forum is a unique form of activity developed by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. It promotes direct cultural cooperation between civic organisations, cultural institutions and artists.

At the 2005 Forum in Vologda, the Ministries signed a cooperation agreement aiming to promote cross-border cooperation in the sphere of arts and culture, and to promote the implementation of cultural partnership.

The seminar on social networks will be held on June 23. The 2nd seminar scheduled for June 24 will be devoted to the role of business in culture.

The broadcast will be available on the website of the Russian Cultural Foundation (rcfoundation.ru) and in the social networks of the Russian-Finnish Cultural Forum VKontakte.

XXII Russian-Finnish Cultural Forum is scheduled for September 23-26. Since 2000, the forum has provided an opportunity for cultural organizations of the two countries to implement their projects in partnership, to developing international cooperation and strengthen cultural ties between Russia and Finland.
