13.10.2009. "Autumn Meetings with Polish Culture" will be held in Vologda and Cherepovets from October 16 through 18.

Among the participants of the Polish delegation there are officers from the Consulate General of Poland in St. Petersburg, from the Polish Ministry of Culture and Cultural Heritage, and experts from a lace-producing centre. The delegation will be led by Consul General of the Republic of Poland in St.Petersburg Jaroslaw Drozd.

The program highlights include events devoted to the 100th anniversary of Polish cinematography, concerts pertaining to 200th birthday of Fryderyk Chopin, an exposition of Polish lacework and graphic arts dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, and a workshop regarding state-of-the-art restoration techniques.
