06.10.2009. International scientific seminar "Political turning points in Soviet-German history: 1949-1989. Searches. Prospects. Achievements" is to be open in Vologda today.

The two-day duration seminar is held with an active backing of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Germany), Cherepovets State University, Vologda Regional Scientific library and a Working Group of Russian historians (Moscow).

In the course of the gathering the scientists are to share lessons learned and best practices gained from their research, problems of Germany during the post-war period, and current Russian-German relations.
