Delegation from Vologda Region led by Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov is taking part in Russian Investment Forum Sochi-2019.
The Russian Investment Forum, the key business event for showcasing Russia’s investment and economic potential, will take place on February 14-15. The Investment Forum in Sochi is held annually and attracts participants from Russian regions and foreign countries.
The Forum welcomes the heads of major Russian and international companies, the governors of Russian regions, and representatives of the business and scientific communities.
The investment forum in Sochi is a modern platform for constructive dialogue between business and government. Created with the support of the Russian Government it focuses on development of the world economy and its main trends, investment potential and innovation activity in Russia and presentation of major investment projects of Russian regions.
On the starting day of the Russian Investment Forum Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov took part in the ‘Healthy Society: Underway towards 80+’ Forum. This is a joint platform for discussion and monitoring of national programmes and federal projects related to the shaping of a healthy society.
The forum is expected to become an annual platform for discussion of methods to achieve the outlined life expectancy goals: 78 years by 2024 and 80 years by 2030. According to Russian Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova, it is possible to increase the life expectancy to over 80 years in the next 12 years by raising the life expectancy of people of all age groups.
Within the framework of the Russian Investment Forum Mr. Kuvshinnikov will also oversee the signing of several agreements and documents intended to further expand the region’s partnership ties.
