Direct Line with Vologda Region Governor Oleg Kuvshinnikov
On October 14th Oleg Kuvshinnikov held a direct communication session during which he responded to questions from citizens of the Vologda Region.
Due to the epidemiological situation, serious precautions were taken: testing for the presence of COVID-19 was performed, non-contact thermometers were used at the entrance, hand hygiene, use of face masks and social distancing was a must.
Representatives of youth and veteran organizations, as well as activists and journalists were invited to participate in the direct line.
The Direct Line with Oleg Kuvshinnikov was broadcast live by Channel Russia-24, Ryssky Sever Channel in Vologda, 12 TV Channel in Cherepovets, Vologda Oblast official website www.vologda-oblast.ru and governor’s website www.okuvshinnikov.ru. During the live broadcast, the Vologda Oblast Governor answered a few dozen questions out of the over 2,000 that were received.
Especially popular in the course of the discussion were questions about the novel coronavirus infection COVID-19, economic development of the region, public health care, repair of roads and social support. There were also questions about road construction and repair work, construction of schools and policlinics in Vologda and Cherepovets, reconstruction of sewage treatment systems in municipalities, construction of a ski track in every district of the Vologda Region and preferential mortgage loans for families with children.
At the end of the direct line the Governor stressed this form of work will become customary and it will be carried out on a regular basis next year.
