Cherepovets-born athlete Yevgeniya Lalenkova grabbed bronze 2021 ISU World Speed Skating Championships in Heerenveen, in the north of the Netherlands.

The 2021 World Speed Skating Championships were held between 11 and 14 February 2021, at Thialf in Heerenveen, Netherlands.

The Netherlands were triumphant in the team pursuit events. Canada sealed silver, while the Russian skaters took bronze, Yevgeniya Lalenkova among them.

The Dutch skaters topped the podium after achieving a winning time of 2 minutes 55,795 seconds. The team representing the Russian Skating Union secured the bronze medal after finishing at 3,56 seconds down.
