The second round of the International Skating Union (ISU) Speed Skating World Cup took place in Heerenveen. The ISU Speed Skating World Cup took place until January 31.
Cherepovets-born athlete Artyom Arefiev finished third in the 500m race at the Speed Skating World Cup in Heerenveen, Netherlands.
Arefiev covered the distance in 34,58 seconds. Pavel Kulizhnikov from Russia won gold (34.550), while Canada claimed silver.
